Pastor David & Maureen Woodcock

LEAD PASTORS

Pastors David and Maureen Woodcock are the lead pastors of Peace Tower Church in Ottawa. They came to Peace Tower in November of 2019 with a burning passion for renewal and revival in the nation’s capital of Ottawa.


David and Maureen pastored in Bloomington Indiana for 16 years before coming to Ottawa. In 2016 they transitioned the leadership at Genesis Church to their son Timothy and his wife Jennifer. They stayed on staff for three and half years giving oversight to the Genesis Network of church plants and overseeing their extensive missions outreach. Pastor David also finished his Clinical Pastoral Education residency at IU Health, and University Hospital in Indianapolis. Pastor Maureen has traveled extensively in and out of the Ukraine over the last ten years working with many of the forgotten children of Eastern Europe, while Pastor David has been highly involved in Ghana West Africa and China planting churches and doing leadership conferences.

The Woodcocks have four married children and 12 grandchildren all residing in the U.S.A.

Pastor Mike & Anna

Pastor Mike has a passion for radical discipleship and evangelism and a heart to see revival in the church. He comes to us from Southern California, where he accepted Christ at a youth event at age 13. He graduated from Princeton University where he participated and worked as a campus minister with Christian Union. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity at Gorden-Conwell Theological Seminary.


Mike and Anna serve the Peace Tower Adult Community and lead the Young Adult Ministry!

Himali Leung

Youth Ministry

Himali Leung will be overseeing the Youth Ministry with the support of the Motion Youth Leadership Team! She has been involved with the Youth for 12 years and is on a mission to bring them closer to God.

Pastor Sonaz

Children & Family Ministries Director

Pastor Sonaz is our Children and Family Ministries Director. She's driven and passionate to serve God and make disciples for His kingdom. She LOVES witnessing children make a decision to walk with Christ and continue their journey as they come to the age of understanding right from wrong. She LOVES teaching and working with kids. 

Pastor Sonaz attended Master’s College and seminary and graduated with a Bachelor's of theology in April 2016.  

Pastor  Jimmy & Ginger

Pastor Jimmy has been an integral part of the Peace Tower Church community for several years, serving in many areas: Deacons board, Youth Ministry and Intercessory Prayer Ministry.  He holds a bachelor’s degree of Economics from Sherbrooke University and is currently completing his bachelor’s degree of Theology from Masters College & Seminary while working full-time and serving.


Pastor Jimmy met his wife Ginger at Peace Tower Church in 2014 and they married the following year! They serve together in overseeing the Connect Groups Discipleship Ministry, as well as other areas in the church.  They are both passionate about leading people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and to see the Kingdom of God expand in people’s hearts & lives.

Anne & Bob

Pastoral Care & Hospitality

Anne & Bob are an integral part of the daily life at Peace Tower, overseeing the cleaning & maintenance of the building. In addition to this, they are deeply involved in Prayer Ministry, Young Adults Ministry, Youth Ministry, Women's and Men's Ministries, Celebrate Recovery and Hospitality. They add a touch of excellence to everything they do!

Peter & Rachelle Robertson

Worship Directors

Peter and Rachelle have been serving in the worship ministry at Peace Tower Church for over a decade and were appointed Worship Directors in 2018. They have a passion to see the Lord lifted high through praise and worship, and through other facets of the creative arts. Over the years, Rachelle has played an instrumental role in introducing the dance during our worship services and is currently overseeing that aspect of the worship ministry. Peter has also served as a member of the Pastor’s Council for a number of terms and is currently the Treasurer of PTC.


The Robertsons met at Peace Tower Church and were married by the founding pastors in 2007. They have six beautiful daughters and live in the west end of Ottawa.

Pastor  John & Christine

Founding Pastors

Pastor John has been in full-time ministry for over 41 years, holding ordained status with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Pastor John and Christine are the founders/planters of Peace Tower Church. They now reside in Halifax, NS.


John and Christine love ministering in churches and supporting and empowering church leaders. John also serves on the board of Watoto Childcare Ministries.
